Coming from lovely Miami, Florida, I read a press release that detailed the new television advertising campaign from V2 Cigs. This advertisement talks about the disposable electronic cigarettes offered by V2 Cigs. A single-use e cigarette, these will be available in select retailers soon, and V2 Cigs wanted to get the word out by doing an infomercial style ad campaign. Smart. Simple. Effective. Just the way I like things in life.
Here are some notes from the advertising campaign, as heard about on a press release I was sent this AM.
- The campaign will run nationally in an infomercial style ad.
- The ad will run in 30 minute spots. (impressive – but what else would you expect from a leader like V2 Cigs?)
- Dr. Matthew Huebner talks about the qualities of electronic cigarettes and makes references to the dangers of cigarette smoke.
The campaign is mostly informational, and aimed at people who don’t know as much about e cigarettes like V2. The campaign features the tobacco and menthol varieties, and even offers a 2 x 1 discount. What a great way to kick off a campaign with a deal like that!
