I have posted a review of the Safe Cig (without any editing, so please excuse any errors) on Vimeo.com.
If you are looking for more information about the Safe Cig, I urge you to check out their website by following the below link:
Official site of The Safe Cig.
Alternatively, I have set up a page entirely dedicated to everything you need to know about buying The Safe Cig. There are many e cigarettes out there today, and the Safe Cig is a top 5 brand. If you are looking for the best throat hit, I have to say the Safe Cig 24 mg cartridge is among the best out there.
Please check out my FULL Safe Cig Review
It’s worth noting that the customer service at the Safe Cig has been incredible, and they have not generated any major complaints with this e cigarette review site nor anywhere else I’ve researched online.
The Vimeo Video review link is here. (Will take you to another site.)

Sorry folks I didn’t spend any time editing this clip as you can tell. It says “v2″ in the pre-rolling credits, but obviously this is the Safe Cig Review.
Special thanks goes out to Iron Man for helping me with the review.
just how safe is this electronic cigarette? is there any danger in using it?
James, I think you should read up. There are 10,000 less of the bad substances *per blu cigs* when compared to traditional cigarettes. I can’t make medical claims on this site, but as far as dangers, there are no KNOWN dangers. I am a big advocate of e cigarettes…
i’ve been smoking since the age of 13. i am now 63 years old. i want to quit, but it seems to be impossible, can you help me?
Note: these are not marketed as “smoking cessation devices” although it’s a fact most people, myself included, did quit smoking and now just puff on vapor cigs.
I am very happy with my Safe Cig. I ordered it and not only was it shipped in 2 days but the package came organized and was very professional. I am very happy with the product. IN my opinion it provides the best value out there because for 144 bucks i got 3 batteries, 10 cartomizers, a durable case, and both a wall and car outlet. You wont find that with any other company, at least anyother company that offers the same quality.
Another thing is the Safe Cig has parts made in the good ole US of A. That beats any chienese product anyday.
My only worry was about the taste of the menthol cartridges ( becasue i smoked menthols before i quit). Well Safe Cig cured my worries. The taste of the menthol is great, alot better than i had ever expected. It hits nice and is very useful and convenient. Thanks to Safe Cig i am planning to take my 3 day spurt without a cigarette and run with it, quitting perminantly. Maybe one day i wont even need the e cig.
Thank goodness I found this site! I’ve been looking at Greensmoke for a while, but only after reading your reviews I decided to check out V2 and SafeCig.
I’m going to SafeCig, and yes, I’m thinking of quitting – even though they say it’s not a smoking cessation product, it is a step in the right direction, I believe.
I smoke a pack every 2-3 days. I smoke Camel Lights (or Blues, as they’re now called), then about 6 months ago, I switched to American Spirit – yellow box, which are their ‘lights’.
Anyway, I’m thinking the SafeCig 11mg is about right – what are your thoughts? Also, say with a regular cig, you take 15 drags – would you do the same with the e-cig?
Thanks,
Dave
Hey Dave,
The e-cig runs on cartridges, which is about a pack of smokes and usually 200-300 puffs depending on brand factors and “hit amount.” I think 11 mg is good for you, based on your smoking preferences. You can always go up if you want more nicotine.
Oh, and cool hat in the video!
I follow the Dallas Stars and the Maple Leafs.
Sorry, didn’t mean to take up bandwidth or disk space.
Thanks man, the Minnesota North Stars were my team growing up – usually caught most of their games. That hat is a little nostalgia. It’s a shame the Stars had to move due to Norm Green (Greed as we call him.) Minnesota never should be without hockey as it’s the hockey hotbed of America. Sorry Detroit fans, it’s the truth!
Hi Andy & fellow e-smokers,
I’ve been “lurking” your site for a few days, in a feeble attempt to shed some light on Safe Cig’s recent backorder fiasco, and I must say you’re review site is probably my favorite for this topic. I’ve bought a few deluxe kits (my very first e-cig and started 2 weeks ago) and to help you out a little, thought I’d give my opinion to any people reading that are in the market for the right e-cig before buying.
I was a Marlboro Lights 100′s smoker, 1 pack a day, and purchasing the Deluxe Kit from The Safe Cig is probably the best $150 I’ve ever spent. I’ve tried Traditional refill cartridges as well as Classic in 11mg,14mg,18mg, and 24mg and the Traditional are the closest to smoking a real cigarette in my opinion, even the nice throat hit. The carts last quite a while, even though I “Vape” frequently throughout the day, typically the cart’s life is approx. 2-3 days, with moderate to heavy use. They are obviously well-made, so far every cart I’ve used works perfectly, and the batteries usually last me a good 8-12 hours on a single charge. And the black battery is so svelte amirite? It sucked however that I got started during their supply shortages.
I am 23 and been smoking since I was 14 (ugh right?) and havent had the desire to smoke an analogue cig since day one with T.S.C. I do however wish they would cut down on the packaging a bit, as they do use nice packaging, and help save their patrons even more money and that they would begin to take the necessary measures to keep their Refills in supply 24/7. The brand is a killer brand and I’d urge anyone who wants the closest thing to a tobacco cig to snatch up a kit, at least the Pro Starter Kit w/ 2 batteries.
I am an operatic, sometime punkabilly vocalist and I must warn, that for me, my throat was very scratchy and raspy after using these for the first week, and my lips were very chapped. That’s all gradually subsided but I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this, because I certainly wasnt expecting it. Sorry for the huge post, but thankyou and hopefully I could help someone make the best decision for them in this regard.
Yes, it’s better than cigarettes! Here is my experience. When I FIRST got it, I was disappointed. I told myself, “It’s just not the same.” I went out and bought another pack of cigarettes … had a few … and HATED them. Don’t ask me why. E-cigs really don’t have the same experience as regular cigarettes; but there is something (I think) about the “burning” of a real cigarette that will turn you off after you have used an e-cig for even a day.
Great info on this site. Just looking for some advice. I currently have the elitensmoke, which I am not happy with. Vapor is not good at all in my opinion. I was a marlboro red smoker of a pack a day and I am really interested in the safe cig, but am not sure which dosage to get 18 mg or 24 and classic or traditional, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
A little off topic but to the hockey fans on here Let’s Go Rangers
Hockey is the best!
Yeah Venessa, a little hockey comraderie, I love it!
If you smoke Mar. Reds, I’d go with an 18 mg. V2 “Reds” is a great option. I have a discount code for 10% off for my blog’s readers: AndyG
I have just received 10 packs of safe cig cartridges and have found that they start out very good but after smoking 4-5 cigarettes they have dryed out and left my throat with a burning sensation. I have been using these for 5 months and have found a dud here and there but now everyone in the box of five has been used up in a few hours. Anyone else experienced this ?
I’m really happy with my Safe Cig. That was THE substitute I needed to quit smoking. My only disappointment with it is that when the cartridge dry out, the internal tissue that holds the liquid start consuming itself and leaves a burned paper taste in mouth. Therefore I’m worried that finally I may “smoke” worst components than real cigarettes even if it is in smaller quantities.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! And go with a company you can actually talk to on the phone when you have a problem, like V2 or greensmoke. The Safe Cigs batteries and customer service ARE HORRIBLE. All three batteries I have received hold a max of a 90 minute charge. While V2′s hold a charge almost ALL DAY. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
Hi Andy, I communicated with you about 5 weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised by your quick response, but I have not ordered by electronic cigarette yet, and after looking at your reviews again more recently, I have some confusion as to what you currently think is the best e-cig out there. Your dedication to the e-cigarette industry is amazing and I’ve seen just about every one of your reviews and videos. Thanks for being there for those of us trying to decide and invest in a product that will work for us. You are literally helping save lives!!! I saw your video review (of the Green Smoke Flavor Max (on July 18th), and thought the vapor was awesome. Is that still your top choice e-cig, or is it V2 (manual), or Bull Smoke? Money isn’t a main factor in my decision. I just want something that will simulate the real thing, and help me to never have another tobacco cigarette again. I’ve tried some cheap e-cigs in the past but they never had enough vapor or throat hit and ended up breaking. I’d like to know your honest opinion as I will take your advice (please email to my email address) This is my smoking background: I’ve been smoking for 10 years (5-7 cigarettes a day). I smoke the American Spirit light cigarettes. But every now and then, I take a drag off my boyfriend’s Marlborough cigs and find them to be nice but too many chemicals to regularly smoke. I used to smoke Parliament lights and liked them a lot, but I wanted to go more natural thus the change to American Spirit. Can you please recommend which brand you would recommend for me? I’m tired of smelling like smoke and hiding. THANKS SOOO Much! YOu are much appreciated!
