It’s a small victory for most people, but for me, being victorious in the pursuit of being able to puff on something and not have to worry about having a light was a big, big victory. My friends and I would always end up losing lighters, stealing each others lighters, and spending money on lighters. They are not only a tedious part of smoking, something you must not leave home without, but they are also dangerous. When I see children playing with lighters, I freak out. I mean, it’s such a potential hazard. Children do stupid things, as they just don’t know what “could” happen. They light things by their face, and potentially create long-lasting impressions and marks that aren’t reversible.
Not to mention that with the TSA rules and regulations, it’s unlawful to fly in an airplane with a lighter.
Well, with electronic cigarettes, or “e-cigs” as they have known to be called by a lot of people, you do not have to worry about lighting cigarettes. Much like offices that are proud to run “paperless,” we now run our vaporized smoking habit “lighter-less.” It’s really great, because lighters are dangerous and when there is a potential for a hazard, hey, I’d rather be on the side of caution.
So, do yourself, heck, do your family a big, big favor, and make the switch to electronic cigarettes. It’ll make the world safer, one less lighter at a time.
