NJoy Electronic cigarette brand got their start on the Internet several years ago and became a very large player in the industry. They are now sold widely at gas stations like 7-11, which is really good for the industry.
You can see how long I’ve been in the e-cigarette review industry by looking at the former NJOY review below. To their credit I won’t review their product in detail these days because I’m not a user of disposable e-cigarettes. Instead, I like to use refill cartridges and buy e-cigarette starter kits like the ones on the home page. What I can do since you surfed into this page is check out my top rated brand: V2. The full review is here, and you can visit their website by clicking here. Use “AndyG15” to save 15% on all purchases. That coupon CAN be used with storewide sales as well.June 23rd, 2011:
I received this email in my inbox, announcing a HUGE NJOY sale:
Orders up to $100 will get 10% off with coupon code NJOY10.
Orders over $100 will get 15% off with coupon code NJOY15.
Orders over $200 will get 20% off with coupon code NJOY20.
Then, there was an email from the person who ran the marketing and distribution for NJOY in the USA stating that they had “consolidated their online presence” and they were not offering NJOY products through any marketing platform.
Here is an excerpt….
Recently NJOY has made a policy decision which is to
consolidate their online presence. As a result that means
that we will no longer be allowed to offer NJOY products.
Huh?
The email followed up and stated that a new brand was available for purchase through this same contact, called “Metro electronic cigarettes.” Okay, this got really confusing, I thought. It sounds like a distribution deal/exclusive partnership gone bad. Not my business, I guess.
Then, it got weirder. Check out this email I got in July of 2011…..
Hi,
It was recently brought to our attention by NJOY’s legal team that your site http://www.bestecigarettesreview.com/njoy-electronic-cigarettes/ is unlawfully using their trademark, as well violating the terms and conditions of our affiliate program.
As we have stated in recent emails we sent out to our affiliates, we are no longer selling NJOY products and any continued use of their trademark, NJOY, is a violation of trademark laws. You must remove any references to NJOY immediately or face further action from NJOY.
We do realize that this was probably an innocent oversight, however it’s a serious matter which needs immediate attention.
Please let me know once all references to NJOY has been removed from the aforementioned web page as well as any others you might own or control.
Okay, first off, I’m not an affiliate of this program. In fact, I have emails backing that up. Second, where is freedom of speech? If I want to talk about Coca Cola, I can tell everyone about Coca Cola. To say I am violating trademark law is absurd, and shows how haywire this whole situation is. I’ve been around the block in business long enough to know what I can and can’t say in blog posts. Trademark violation for saying their name on a blog? Okay so I guess every blog in the world that mentions a product that is trademarked is violating trademark law, right?
Anyways, I never really liked their product anyways – wasn’t among the top e cigs in my book, so I won’t spend any more time on this and am very, very confused as to what is going on with this brand and their distributor.
#SMH (Shakin’ my head for all of you who don’t know the Twitter abbreviation.)
Note: Two years later I come back and I read all of this banter back and forth and thought it was quite absurd. However, I tip my cap to NJoy and what they’ve done in the industry. Clearly a market leader and the BIGGEST player in the retail game. Guys, you win.

I love mine! Would recommend them to anyone trying to quit or just tired of paying $8 a pack.

I am having a bad experience with NJOY. One of the re-chargeable cartridges does not hold a charge.
Three emails later, I still have no response.
I’m waiting to see if I can a response to my telephone message. I’m not too hopeful after reading a complaint from another customer who stated it was two weeks before they received an answer to their call.
The product taste was just fair. I have tried a sample of the Gamucci and wish that I had purchased more from them. The only thing I didn’t like about the Gamucci e-cig was that it uses a push button to activate and that made it inconvenient to carry in my purse.
I want to order for myself and some friends that want to try to quit smoking,
I got mine in Missouri at a Quip Trip and has really helped me kick the nasty habit. Need full flavor ones
Thank you
the njoy e-cig does an excellent job for me,and it was very affordable, and saved me alot of money from traditional smokes.horayyyyyyyyyyyyyy for njoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A decent e-cig that I used for years when I drove truck (because they were sold in Pilot truck stops). But, I had an issue with a battery, so I had to purchase another (customer support wasn’t that great at the time). My other complaint with it was that it was VERY loud on the inhale compared with others that I have seen people use. As far as I know they are still sold in Pilot truck stops, so if you live near one you can just go there to get your cartridges (or even starter kit) and not have to deal with waiting for stuff in the mail.
I have been using N Joy about 4 months now and am displeased with customer service and the battery life issues. They do not return calls to either me or my local supplier. A Company that does not back its products is of no use to me and I am
looking into another brand to buy with my local supplier should have in a week.
Wake up n joyi your loosing a lot of customers ……….Karen (Boise, Idaho)
Thanks for the feedback, Karen.
I have been using N-Joy for about a month. I had no trouble getting a new battery when the first one died in a week. However, I had to buy another and constantly have one on a charger. They don’t last very long at all. Plus, the cartridges do not come close to equaling a pack of cigarettes. I fail to see much in the way of savings. They make it convenient to buy. But, there has to be a better product available.
When you first try it, its great. Tastes just like my brand of cigarettes. Unfortunately the battery doesn’t last and the refill cartage are only 5 in a pack and costs $19.99! Other brands I’ve seen in the mall may cost a little more but the battery last longer and the refill cartridges are 15 for $10! I’m going to change to another E-cig as soon as my cartage’s run out.
I don’t like the way they draw, doesn’t feel like smoking a real cigarette at all, do not like the menthol flavor, and the price is higher than the brand that they sell at the local gas station. I still have the battery for what it’s worth, but I don’t plan on buying the cartrages again.
In short in my opinion, and inferior product for a inflated price.
Thanks for sharing. Been a while since i have heard the Njoy name come up.
I am smoking a brand at present that is quite inexpensive but have not been able to find out the name or where to get them on the net. If you will give me a way to send a picture I will send you one of the cartomizer box and maybe you can locate the manufacturers. After trying several I have been very happy with these no name ones.

Update on NJOY, they have stopped selling them on the website that you provide. I contacted them and they are now selling something else called Metro (I don’t really like them).
Andy, what would you recommend instead of NJOY? I would prefer something that lasts a little longer, that was the only issue I had with NJOY, full flavor, 1.8 nic.
I am bumming, help!
Hi Jaycee,
I stopped recommending NJOY, and just recently got a message that they were now introducing METRO. I have not tried Metro, perhaps I’ll get a kit and give a review this month.
I will say, I LOVE my V2 Cigs manual. It’s the best thing on the ecig market right now in my opinion.
Found them at a chevron for $19 for an express mini pack and $19 for a pack of 5 cartrages may have made a mistake in buying but I can not find e cigs out in stores in California so I picked up to try. At leat they were readily available.
7/11 has these e cigs quite handy at most locations. Personally I prefer about 25 other brands over NJOY, but to each his own.
I started smoking njoy 3 months ago. Had to quit smoking cig. do to getting ready to have surgery. So I got the 0.0% nicotine. Read somewhere all njoy products have some nicotine in them. So call the 1-800 #. Had to speak to 3 people to get to the bottom of this. And found out 0.0% nicotine still has some nicotine in it. I was so mad. 0 to me mean none. But, that isn’t the case with njoy. If it has any nicotine I don’t care if it’s a small amount it’s not 0% it should be 0.1%. So njoy gets a big fat 0 from me. They are VERY MISS LEADING.
Agreed, you won’t find many people here who are Njoy users these days.
