Friday, July 15th, marked the day of my shipment of the Green Smoke Flavor Max cartridges arriving at my place. Friday is always a good day by any means, but receiving an upgraded cartridge, clearly marked with a 25% “more vapor” label on the product packaging, made this day even better than the average Friday. I’ve been smoking Green Smoke’s Electric cigarettes since fall of 2009, when a friend turned me on to the whole “ecig” thing. Green Smoke was by far the best ecig brand on the planet for about a year or more, then the market started becoming flooded with many comparable brands that I started puffing, reviewing, and making comparisons to. I will go on record and say that Green Smoke has certainly kept busy in making sure their brand doesn’t go stale, and this upgrade goes a long way to show everyone just how serious they are about remaining at the top of list when people think of e cigarettes.
So, what did I think about the Flavor Max cartridge upgrade from Green Smoke?
WOW. I can’t put this in words. Green Smoke has really done a great job at providing more vapor!
This is a SERIOUS upgrade over the last Green Smoke cartridges I had, and I’d be lying if I didn’t say this product wowed me. Watch the below video to see just how much vapor I got from these puppies, right out of the box!
Green Smoke is back, and they are better than ever. If you quit smoking Green Smoke or didn’t like them first time around, there is no better time to give them another shot. If you are smoking Green Smoke now, and are looking to get more cartridges, this should provide a bit more excitement, as these things are just bellowing with vapor.
I can’t believe how big of an improvement Green Smoke made. This is simply the biggest development of July 2011 in the e cigarette world. Green Smoke, congrats on the improvements and thanks again for the t-shirt and hat you sent me with the order. Very cool!

Great review, Andy! You’re spot on…. as I took your advice and ordered Green Smoke and got the new FlavorMax cartomizers as well. I 110% agree!
I love the new packaging. They are in a foil blister pack, have a plug in one end and the “vapor” end has a cool little green leaf seal on it that says “GreenSeal”.
I bet they store much longer now and stay fresher.
All around, they are waaaaay better. More vapor, great “throat kick” and the flavor is just yummy….. and lasts longer. Green Smoke hit a grand slam this time.
One other thing I like also is how quiet and smooth Green Smoke is when you puff on it. Some of the other brands have much louder “air flow” and it’s kind of annoying, you know?

Thanks for the comments. I certainly agree, some of the air flow issues you cite do happen with other brands. That “popping noise” is non existent with these carts.

I would to find one that is the closest to the real thing in vapor and taste. So what’s your take? Any other people who would like to share their option would be appreciated.

After reading your reviews, I settled on the V2 brand and am overall VERY pleased. I have started to experiment with refilling cartridges myself, and I am constantly looking out for new developments. Although I don’t want to switch over to the Green Smoke equipment, I was wondering if their new Flavormax cartridges will fit my V2 batteries. If they will, I would love to try the menthol as I have always been a “menthol-head!”

Thank you Andy for your comprehensive reviews. I really want and need to stop smoking and am looking at the ecig options. I am seriously considering Green Smoke. When you say the flavor max is the best, does that mean only the flavored cartridges or does that include the regular flavor. I smoke Doral ultra light 100′s so which level do I choose? Thanks for your help!

Where can I buy some of these new FlavorMax cartridges. I have just bought the Green Smoke E-cig and and not overly impressed with the current cartridges and the throat hit and taste is minimal, compared to the e-lites that I have tried at least. I am hoping that it is due to the cartridges being held at the customs office in the UK for over 2 weeks but I would really like to get my hands on the new ones as they look fantastic. Any advice on how I can get this in the UK?

Thanks this is where I have bought my current products. I have ordered some more carts but I am not sure they are the FlavorMax carts. They don’t make the distinction on the site and I can’t get onto the American Green Smoke website as it always re-directs me to the UK one. Are Green Smoke only selling their new carts now or am I likely to get the old ones in the post?

You are correct. I hadn’t checked that out as I live in Florida. Now I’m glad I did. I guess Green Smoke’s UK rep (I assume they have a distributor or warehouse there in the UK – could be wrong) doesn’t have them yet. Try clicking on the flag to the US site and send them an email – perhaps they fill these orders from their Florida warehouse. I’m email a contact I have there and try to find out later today so if you find out before me just update this thread.

Hey there! Love your site! I am new to the world of ecigs, but your reviews helped me make up my mind in what to order! Got blu and green smoke…no comparison on taste and vapor. Green smoke flavormax rocks! Blu classic tasted like coffee!? Anyway, I was wondering if you could refill the flavormax carts? I like the absolute vs. Red label (red good, but sweeter to me which is backwards from what I have read) but was just curious about refilling. Tried this? Can’t find anything on refilling flavormax. I don’t think you can refill the Flavor Max carts. However, I’m not a “mod guy” like some people are so who knows. I just re-order carts as needed. Glad you like the site.
Andy, I really enjoy reading your reviews about e-cigarettes and am still indecisive as to which one to buy. I’ve tried some cheap ones in the past but haven’t been impressed with the vapor they produce. I’m looking for an e-cigarette that will produce a similar to the real thing experience, one that produces the most amount of vapor and throat kick. Prices is not of importance to me: Quality is. I want to invest in an e-cig that will work the best. I smoke 5-7 cigarettes a day (for 10 years), and have been a fan of American Spirits for the last 3 years as they are as natural as they come. I previously smoked Parliament Lights and Marlborough lights. Can you recommend your expert, honest advice if I should go with V2, Green Smoke, or Bull Smoke? I was impressed with the vapor in your video produced by Green Smoke’s Flavor Max cartridges. Do the V2 and/or Bull Smoke have just as much vapor production and throat kick. I am striving to find an e-cig that I don’t have to suck hard on to get the vapor and sensation. I would like to smoke an e-cig that tastes like a cigarette.
