Thanks to the person who pointed out this AM what exactly is going on over at the much anticipated NASCAR race called the Coca Cola 600. I really appreciate the heads up and it took me by surprise that Green Smoke’s driver, TJ Bell, did not qualify for the face.
What was even more shocking to me was that I hadn’t heard Blu Cigs was getting involved in NASCAR as well. My hat goes off to the marketing team at Blu Cigs, which has impressed me with it’s in your face, classy marketing since day one. Mike Bliss, who drives a Ford, number 32, will have his primary sponsorship be Blu Cigs. That’s reported not only by the friendly commenter who alerted me to this as well as the official website of Nascar.
Bliss will have an uphill battle if he wants to win this race, as he is starting in the 39th spot. (out of 43.)
It’s unfortunate that TJ Bell did not qualify, as it would have been awesome to have two electronic cigarette sponsors in the race. This does mark the first time NASCAR has had an electronic cigarette company as a sponsor, and I hope it lasts a while and grows by leaps and bounds.
Will be watching the race, which is tomorrow at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Hope everyone is having a nice Memorial Day Weekend.
Andy
