Electronic Cigarettes
Electronic cigarettes are ALL THE RAGE – people are using them from Nantucket to Nambia. Okay, the Nambia part I made up, but they are virtually everywhere and they are changing the way people smoke and get their nicotine fix.
I’m Andy Gray, and since 2009 I’ve been an expert reporter on the topic of electronic cigarettes. Click that link to visit my home page and see my latest e cigarettes review chart and ratings. I also throw consumers some great coupon codes they can use to purchase any brand of e cigarettes.
In short, I’m an expert because not only was I among the first people in the know of e cigarettes, but I was the first to take a proactive blogging approach to charting my success – and failure – with many electronic cigarette brands.
I tell it like it is – good, bad, and ugly.
What the heck is an electronic cigarette, or “e-cig” as people are calling them?
If you just stumbled into my electronic cigarette review website and haven’t spent much time on the subject, let me try to provide you with a brief education.
Also commonly called an e-cig or personal vaporizer, an electronic cigarette is a battery-powered device that provides inhaled doses of nicotine through a vaporized smoking solution. While electronic cigarettes offer a solid alternative to smoked tobacco products, such as traditional cigarettes, cigars, or pipes, these e-cigs are perfectly legal to smoke in most environments. While this electronic cigarette is still delivering nicotine, the vapor provides a flavor and physical sensation like that of inhaled tobacco smoke. However, no tobacco, smoke, or combustion is actually involved at any time in the electronic cigarette.
The cool thing about these electronic cigarettes is that they come packaged well in most cases and really do like like a traditional cigarette. People seem to still have the urge to be doing the repeated smoking motion, and when they do this it mimics the motion done when real, traditional smoke is being performed.

The first electronic cigarette was said to be made in China, where many are still manufactured today. E-cigs did not become a mainstream product in North America until a company called Smoking Everywhere started setting up kiosks in malls that offered a hands-on experience with their e-cig.
There are many things that go into an electronic cigarette. Some e-cigs come in two part components, and some come in three parts. Many people prefer the two-piece system, but the three pieces work just as well by all reports.
Three piece kits are made up of an atomizer (heating element), a mouthpiece, and a battery. The battery kits that are charged with ease are preferred by most electronic cigarette smokers.

Due to the recent success of smokeless cigarettes, many associations have been formed and regulatory agencies are being erected in order to better govern the industry. Many people have issues with false e-cig health claims that some manufacturers make. While research shows that e-cigs are a healthier option than traditional cigarettes, they are still a risk on a smaller level. Please consult with a specialist if you have any specific questions regarding the health benefits and dangers of electronic cigarettes.
