Bloog is a founding member of the Electronic Cigarette Association
One brand that sounds like it could be branding something special is Bloog. Choosing not to name their company with any reference to smoking or cigarettes, Bloog has been a popular electronic cigarette that has been generous enough to offer a coupon code for any readers of my e-cigarette review blog.
It’s also worth pointing out that Bloog is a founding member of the Electronic Cigarette Assocation, protecting your right to e-smoke.

Bloog’s brand of electric cigarettes caught my eye when I noticed many different e-cig flavors that weren’t being offered by other manufacturers of electronic cigarettes. The full line-up of Bloog flavors includes: apple, cherry, coffee, cola, energy bull, grape, spearmint, and vanilla. For those of you electronic cigarette smokers looking for a more “realistic” flavor, don’t let those tropical flavors keep you away from this truly special brand. In addition to a menthol flavored e-cigarette flavor, Bloog also offers Kamel and M’Boro flavors, which of course imply a similarity to the real brands offered by the cigarette giants bearing similar names.
Bloog Electronic Cigarettes are made up of the popular two-part component system. That is, the e-cigarette battery battery is the main component and is available in white, silver or black. The disposable cartridge is offered in many flavors, including one with no flavor at all, something preferred by some e-cig smokers.
Bloog’s flavors have been getting great e-cig reviews across the web, and I tend to feel they are among the most popular brands and certainly can be compared to both Green Smoke’s Electronic Cigarette was well as Blu Cigs version of the e-cig.
While I have not personally tried Bloog’s electronic cigarette yet, it’s an e-cig that does get mentions here and there so it’s worthy of posting it’s vital information on my e-cigarette review blog. If you would like more information about Bloog’s e-cigarette, just visit their site by following the link I supplied below. And don’t forget to use the special discount code I included in this review post if you do decide to buy Bloog’s smokeless cigarette device.

I decided to go with Bloog for numerous reasons, but regret it. I ordered the Basic Starter Kit, which was $70 with the 10% discount. The charger doesn’t work, and I have called the company twice and emailed twice, with no reply from them. I was able to use the Bloog for about 4 days before the battery died and I have no way to charge it.
I question how they can honor their money back guarantee if they won’t even call me back on this issue. All I want is a charger that works, but I guess that is too much to ask.
When you call their “customer service” line, you leave a message. Not once have I talked to a real person. I’ve called several times, and left two messages, plus two emails to customer support, in the last 10 days. Customer service appears to be a very low priority for Bloog. I regret choosing them. I got the cherry flavor and my husband can taste it, but I can’t. Not a company I would recommend to anyone.
Stephanie, I have rated Bloog accordingly. You aren’t alone in your struggles. Green Smoke is HANDS DOWN the better all around company.
I recently purchased my starter kit from blu. Everything seems to be going as advertised?when I got it,one of the two atomizers did not work. I’m waiting for a new one.the guy I talked with was really nice and polite. The only thing I’m not happy with is the 14 to 15 day wait for my replacement….. I have got to say that I was a smoker for over 20 yrs. And this “ecig” has drastically helped cut down my smoking from 2 pks a day to 1 pk every 2 days….tell me that’s not progress? I guess what it boils down to is , everyone is different? I’m gonna buy another one for my wife because it is helping her too. My thinking is that ,everyone should use these things as a stop smoking aid …that’s jus my opinion
Jeff, thanks for your comments. You won’t find any argument from me or most people on this site. We’re very “Pro E Cigarette” here.
Let us know how your experience is with Blu, they are a good brand and many people choose Blu as their choice of e cigarette.
Thanks Andy for your helpful insight and the coupon codes. I personally have tried quite a few e cig brands as well and my favorite is V2, my only problem with this company is that they seem to have a problem keeping up with the demand. I have consistently had to wait for weeks for the cartridges I ordered. They do however answer the phone and are helpful. Once I’d waited 3 weeks for cartridges, called several times and finally got annoyed with the gentelman on the phone and miraculously they found some cartridges to send me. Humm? I did also discover that the V4L cartridges fit the V2 batteries so when I’m in a jam I order from them. They are actually the best I’ve found with customer service. They also ship out promptly. With V2 it takes at least a week to get the carts once they’ve been shipped out. I prefer the flavor of the V2 cowboys but the V4L Cool Carts Cowboys are close enough. Also, the bloog carts fit both the V2 and the V4L Batteries. It took me awhile to find other companies that use the same type of carts/batteries. So, maybe this will help someone else if they are having the same struggle.
After using “The Safe Cig” for about 3 months, I decided to try Bloog. I heard many good things about the product and their PCC case intrigued me (one thing you quickly learned while using E-Cigs is that keeping your batteries charged becomes a chore if you’re not at home or at work).
After about 2 weeks of solid use, there are definately solid pros and cons to the product
One area that I was really hoping Bloog would deliver in is vapor production and thankfully it does. It seems trivial but if you’re a smoker looking to quit the real thing, having a E-cig with good vapor production makes the transition a lot easier when you get something that creates the illusion of “getting a good hit”. Another highlight, although not necessarily regarding the product itself, is Bloog’s line of cartomizers. They have a wide selection of flavors and also offer discounts if you purchase in bulk (something The Safe Cig does not offer). Most E-cig users find themselves blowing through refills quite a bit faster than they initially think simply because of the convenience factor, so this is definitely a much appreciated feature.
Like most products, however, it is not without its share of flaws. One problem I have is with the PCC case. Although it’s a great idea, I find that the battery that powers the PCC doesn’t last nearly as long as I hoped it would. It definately makes longer trips away from power sources possible but don’t bank on multiple days without an outlet or computer nearby (depending on your usage level, of course). The PCC also quite ofen tends to read that I don’t have a e-cig battery in the charger slot. Although a few taps on the side and messing with the battery placement tends to solve the problem, this does not give me much confidence in how long the PCC will actually last before it stops working altogether.
Another big problem I have is with the flavor of the cartomizers. As mentioned, they offer a wide variety of flavors. However, the 3 flavors I’ve tried don’t live up to expectations. So far, I have ordered “555′s”, “Kamel’s” and “Red’s”:
555: For some reason, this one comes off as a minty taste and reminds me of some sort of toothpaste
Kamel: Although it’s suppose to imitate “Camel” brand cigarettes, at least for me, this tastes nothing like it and almost comes off as some sort of fruity, prune-like taste
Red: I had the highest hopes for this one since Marlboro was my cigarette of choice but oddly enough, this flavor comes off tasting like a weird dark chocolate of some sort. I almost feel like I got the wrong cartomizers (Bloog DOES have a chocolate flavor) but the box and each individual refill is clearly marked. Overall, a very strange experience.
Perhaps I just have strange taste-buds because I have not heard any reviewer express the same complaints but nevertheless, I feel that the taste of The Safe Cig refills are much better.
Overall, I would say I am generally happy with my purchase and will likely continue using Bloog as my main brand. However, without the (modest) convenience of the PCC and price breaks on refills, I would almost certainly continue using The Safe Cig or a different product
