I’ve found (in the research that I’ve done) that e-cigs have no negatives as far as health goes. Especially when you can control the amount of nicotine that you use in your e-cig, all the way down to none if you choose. At that point you would either be ‘vaping’ pharmaceutical grade Propolyne Glycol (very thin almost watery) or 100% vegetable glycerine (thick and produces a massive amount of vapor.
I have tried many different brands. There is one that I like better and it’s for the exact reason mentioned up above. A onine company called http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com
You get refillable cartridges and their ‘e-juice’ (which is the straight nicotine (remember straight nicotine is classified as a poison) mixed with a Propolye Glycol or Vegetable Glycerine.
You can also buy the two seperately so you can mix the amount of nicotine you get. From the high strength 36mg, down to the low 10mg and finally no nicotine, straight dilutent! This way you personally know how much nicotine you’re ingesting and can control it and wean yourself down to nothing if your objective is to quit.
I personally chose the Titan 510 Mega. It has a larger battery for a longer life and it’s manual too, which means that you push the button to start the atomizer and hold it as you inhale, giving you much more vapor!
I also posted earlier of a promotion redemtion code: CHRYSLER that I found. That page has since been taken down!?!?! After seeing that, I did go back to their web site and add some items to ‘my basket’ as if I were checking out and the ‘code’ still seemed to work. . . I wonder if they didn’t want that publicly known?
At any rate; those are my 2 cents. I hope it helps. It has most certainly helped me. I rather enjoy the e-cig and since there is no tar, smell, stink, 4,000 carcinogens, smelly clothes/car/hair I feel much safer.
I’m posting my review in a lot of forums because I am so impressed with this e-cig thing and I think we all need to get healthier. And if any of you have children in school know that the school pushes the no smoking thing alot (great for them!) downside was my daughter brought home a contract that I had to sign to quit smoking. Well, I did quit smoking (as defined by websters) now I just ‘Vape’ and love it even more than traditional smoking!!!
Durameter!
I agree that they are best..I’ve tried two others and Green Smoke is much better tasting with more vapor. Only problem I have is that they take so long to ship out new cartridges. I sent in an order and payment was processed on March 19th and the order wasn’t shipped until March 26th…still waiting..and in the meantime I’ve had to use the “other” e-cigarette..thank goodness I have back-ups.
THE BEST IS HERE AND ITS THE XITTODAY E-CIGARETTE
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE BEST
I am concerned about the name brand flavor if any that any of these Ecigs have.
I am a Winston Light 100 smoker. If I smoke a regular Winston Light I get dizzy headed. If I smoke a Red pkg. Winston I can feel the extra nicotine in each draw . I do not like the taste of Marlboro but it is tolerable. So how can I just switch with any satisfaction to something that says “regular tobacco taste”. That does not say anything to the person that is a particular name brand user.
So will any of you address that issue.
Also what is the comparable cost? These reviews state one pack, 5 cartridges, etc. so what does that mean. If I smoke a pack and a half every day ..what would be my cost….Is it per draw?…I have no idea how many draws I take in a day…guess it would be good to attempt to measure that one day…lol.
Do you think that the cost will come down as it gets more in demand?
Hi Carol,
Thanks for your comment on my e-cigarette blog. I can understand the concern you have, being a Winston Smoker. To my knowledge, there isn’t a brand out there claiming they have a similar taste and draw, but that’s not to say there isn’t one very similar. I do think the cost of e-cigarettes will come down eventually, but they are still a great value compared to traditional cigarettes. I am actually in the process of adding a calculator that can help determine your potential savings with e-cigarettes. Please check back shortly and hopefully it’s up and running.
In the mean time if there are any other questions I can answer, just let me know.
